My New Car

I GOT A CAR FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!

I KNOW you're wondering why I'm just telling you this, to be honest, I was a little unsure of the thing.  I was fine taking pictures on it, but driving or riding in it . . was not happening.

Once I became more familiar with the car, I started doing test drives around the house. I wanted to make sure I knew what I was doing prior to taking it to the streets.

My baby brother, Jacob, was my first passenger. He had a blast! He's too young to realize he should have been scared rolling with this inexperienced driver.

When my cousin Janay came to visit, she took her baby brother, Jamari, for a ride. Another one, too young to know he should have been scared!
Ahhh, the innocence of youth.

Did you click on the link above and watch the video??

What does every parent tell a young driver getting their first car?
"Don't let your friends drive this car".

What does every young driver do when they get their first car?
You guessed it . . . ..let their friends drive.

Parents also tell their kids:
"don't have a whole bunch of kids in your car".

I wonder if that was the reasoning behind this two-seater purchase?

I'll consider this a learning experience. Having a two-seater comes with drawbacks. . . I have at least 6 friends. I need a bigger car!!!

hmmmmmmmmm I wonder if they make Honda Pilots for kids.

The Garden Goddess

Well I'm at it again!  My teacher, Ms. Teddy, sent me a package of  seeds to plant. She told me to think of her as my beautiful flowers grow. She is such  a sweetie! Every child needs a Ms. Teddy in their life.

Daddy loaned me his tools! Check out the gloves...no calluses on these pretty hands!

Pour the seeds ....check

water the seeds.... check
Clearly, I'm a pro at gardening.

I hope this drought we're having in Texas doesn't affect the growth of my flowers!

My Green Thumb

My dance girlfriends and I painted flowerpots. We hung out and played while our flowerpots dried in the Texas sun.

Everything was going smoothly...until the ride home that is!!
Mommy quickly learned, she can't drive, talk on the phone to Daddy AND hold my flowerpot.

We recovered as much dirt as we could and replanted my gladiola.
Since "the incident" I have been a diligent little gardener.
Watering and giving it love often.

It was planted over a month ago and  has yet to grow.
I believe that dive it took in the car has stunted it's growth!
