Boogie-Woogie Dance Camps
Dancing is clearly my thing, but my parents tend to think I need a change of pace. So, I'm taking a year off from dancing and trying my hand at gymnastics. Prior to making this drastic change, they let me have the pleasure of participating in two dance camps this summer....TWO!!
#1 Dance Camp Video.
#2 Dance Camp Video
Don't even ask what happened to those ponytails. It was a long day! LOL
I had a blast in both camps and I'm so grateful my parents are exposing me to new and exciting activities. Gymnastics, here I come!
Totally in the zone. Ready for dance camp. |

You wanna know what made the dance camps even better??? One of my besties, Isabella (remember the camera shy, Audrey Hepburn??) attended both camps with me.....Good times.

This is me, and I'm on my way to my first official sleepover!
Staying the night with Grandma and 2GrandZ
(they declined a photo opt because they were in their jammies, really!)

This is my Daddy and guess what, it's his Birthday!!!
I'm so excited to be spending the night with Grandma and 2GrandZ, but I'm also wondering, are they going to do anything fun without me?
Oh wait, I'm not crying either, hmm guess that means we all need some time apart. . .LOL
Well, we're reunited and there's even some singing!!
So, glad my Daddy had a Happy Birthday!
Love you Daddy!

Halloween Fun!!!!
For the record, I am still backlogged on my summer post. Guess that's a drawback of having an awesome life full of activities and adventures.
However, I couldn't resist quickly sharing my Halloween pictures!!! I told Mommy and Daddy months ago that I wanted to be a Mommy Penguin. They thought at some point I'd change my mind, but it didn't happen!
Gotta admit, I wasn't the most cooperative when it came to solo photos so you'll have to enjoy me and my buddies!

Once I got my face painted I was somewhat cooperative for this pic.
My girls didn't dress up! They did come and hang out so I guess I'll let them slide. Costume or not, they were still uber cute!!
Hanging with the best neighbors ever!!!!
I'm smiling like that because Mr. Don just gave me a great big handful of candy (yum), and Ms. MaryAnn gave me a bracelet. They spoil me!
I know, still not a solo shot, but at least you can get a good view of my costume, and my Daddy makes the picture even cuter.
(clearly a Daddy's girl)

Swimming Lessons
Summer fun continued with swimming lessons. In preparation for swim class mommy braided my hair with beads for the first time. (teaching me early women don't play when it comes to water and their hair).
Swimming Class was a blast!! It was a family affair, Drew Drew, Lukie and Jacob were in the class also.
Jumping in the pool was the highlight of the class for me.
My swim classes were awesome!
My Daddy, the best swimming instructor EVER!!! :-)

Spring Dance Recital
If only my Chi-Town fam could have stayed a little longer. The weekend after they left was my Spring Dance Recital.
My girls and I performd "Cute As A Bug". I've learned so much in my first year of dance. I believe, the one most important thing I've learned is, the show must go on!! After viewing the video, wouldn't you agree?

My Family Reunion
Hey Fam! I need to apologize....every since I got my car I've been rather slow with the blog post. Sorry for the hiatus. I had the best summer EVER, and you don't have all the details!!! Let me start with my peeps coming from Chicago to visit.
First to arrive was Granddaddy Willie. I hadn't see him since I was 1 year old!!! That's a loooooong time. The good thing is he remembered me and I remembered him so we were ready to pick right up.
Janay and I selected matching Doc McStuffins outfits for the zoo.
It felt like there were kids everywhere, and I loved every minute of it.
We had tons of fun and play time, but there was also work to be done. We didn't want to pass up a great photo opt! So, here we are all together, the Hudson grandkids. There's six of us now, I wonder how many will there be at the next family reunion.........
Well, that rounds up my family reunion! I have many more adventures to share. I'll bring you up to speed in a more timely manner... hehehe
XOXO,
JOC

Auntie Tamira and I wasted no time catching up. You see me chatting her up, right?! LOL She gave my Mom a break on the hair thing. It was a bonding moment for us.
My cousins and I couldn't wait to take my car for a spin!!
Family Day At the Zoo
The sisters Pretended to ride an elephant.
Janay and I selected matching Doc McStuffins outfits for the zoo.
We had many outdoor adventures, but we also had playtime at the house. Jamari only wanted to go down the slide
It felt like there were kids everywhere, and I loved every minute of it.
The adults were having such a good time we flew under the radar on a few occasions. I mean, what other time would we get away with hanging out the sunroof!
During the visit, Janay watched Frozen for the first time, and she was totally captivated. She's loved it every since!

My New Car
I GOT A CAR FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!
I KNOW you're wondering why I'm just telling you this, to be honest, I was a little unsure of the thing. I was fine taking pictures on it, but driving or riding in it . . was not happening.
My baby brother, Jacob, was my first passenger. He had a blast! He's too young to realize he should have been scared rolling with this inexperienced driver.
When my cousin Janay came to visit, she took her baby brother, Jamari, for a ride. Another one, too young to know he should have been scared!
Ahhh, the innocence of youth.
Did you click on the link above and watch the video??
"Don't let your friends drive this car".
What does every young driver do when they get their first car?
You guessed it . . . ..let their friends drive.
Parents also tell their kids:
"don't have a whole bunch of kids in your car".
I wonder if that was the reasoning behind this two-seater purchase?
I'll consider this a learning experience. Having a two-seater comes with drawbacks. . . I have at least 6 friends. I need a bigger car!!!
hmmmmmmmmm I wonder if they make Honda Pilots for kids.

The Garden Goddess
Well I'm at it again! My teacher, Ms. Teddy, sent me a package of seeds to plant. She told me to think of her as my beautiful flowers grow. She is such a sweetie! Every child needs a Ms. Teddy in their life.
Daddy loaned me his tools! Check out the gloves...no calluses on these pretty hands!

Pour the seeds ....check
water the seeds.... check
Clearly, I'm a pro at gardening.
I hope this drought we're having in Texas doesn't affect the growth of my flowers!
