Well, Father's Day has gotten off to a great start. It's raining soo hard here that we have a flash flood warning. This was just an invitation for my awesome Daddy and I to get out and play in the rain.
I love hanging with my Daddy, he is totally the BEST DAD EVER!!!!
My Daddy let me jump up and down in puddles. I love him for that!
To my Grandaddy, 2Grandz, PopPop, Uncles and all the Dad's I know!!!!
It's my prayer that your day is as awesome as each of you!
My mom has her mind set on me having a skating party for my 5th Birthday. (we won't mention that my birthday is more than 9 months away or that I'm old enough to decide what kind of party I want).
All that aside, she is ensuring that I'll know how to skate for my party.
That said, we got some good practice in today. As you know, my prior practice has only been around the house and the block a few times, but today was the real deal! We went to an actual skating rink.
Here's a blow by blow of the day:
1. I sat and observed for awhile.
2. We used the "walker" (I "think" that thing contributed to my falling).
3. My Daddy gave me a good pep talk.
4. We hit the rink!
After going around a few times with Daddy, I was ready to venture out and take a few steps on my own...
Each step helped build my courage. So much so, that I felt the need to bust a move....... clearly I'm not quite there yet! LOL!!! I had a blast, and must admit, I made good progress for a first timer.
(be sure and watch til the end. You don't want to miss my dance moves)
It's officially Spring, but there's still ice in Texas . . .Frozen on Ice that is!!
My super cool, totally fabulous Uncle Reuben and Aunt Amy took me and her sister Victoria, to see Frozen on Ice . ..CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?!?!?
Here's the deal . . ....I had NO IDEA I was going to see Frozen. I was perfectly content hanging out with them.
Then we pack up to go someplace. I didn't care where, just happy to be hanging with them. (in case you're wondering why, they're Awesome).
Then my Uncle brought it down to my level, looked me in the eye and told me we were going to see Frozen on Ice. . . .I was giddy. They're so awesome they recorded The Big Reveal for my Mom and Dad. Now, I'm sharing with you . . .enjoy!!
ps - Grandma Sandra, the Elsa dress you sent me totally came in handy!!!
Hmmm, makes me wonder if you knew about this too????
Whew! It's been a record breaking year! As long as I've lived, I've never seen so much snow . . . until today, that is! Over night there was a snow blizzard and I woke up to 5 inches of snow!!!!
I made sure to take advantage of this beautiful white fluff!
WIPEOUT!!!!!
Sledding is soo much fun!
This pic is from last week when we received a dust of snow that dulled in comparison to today.
My birthday celebration kicked off yesterday in school with my friends.
I wonder what else Mommy and Daddy have planned?!?!?
(I'll keep you posted throughout the day)
The Day started with a bang.
As the guest of honor I gave my family an awesome performance
in my new Elsa light up dress.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!
OHHHHH MYYYYY GOODNESSS!!
I had a Birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. It was SOOO much fun!
I was so glad to see Chuck E. I gave him a great big hug. He's like one of my best friends!!! Chuck E is so cool, even My Mommy and Daddy wanted a picture with him!!!
My cake looks super yummy!!
My friends and I can't wait to eat it.
My friends and I make the coolest funny faces.
How my Baby brother gone photo bomb me on my Birthday?!?!! LOL
Well, It's official, I'm 4 years old and my Birthday was a TOTAL blast.
Thanks Mom and Dad for the best Birthday EVVVER!!!!
Would you believe, there was once a time when I was afraid to get my face painted?
Well, that's not an issue anymore! Now I'll stand in line forever . . .hmm ok, let me clarify..... I'll let Mommy or Daddy stand in line forever, while I play.
But my point is. . . . I am longer afraid!
I'm sure the primary reason I no longer fear face painting is because whenever I tell my parents I am scared of something they hold me really tight and say, "Baby, fear not, the Lord is with you and he'll keep you safe always". So, glad he kept me safe from them paintbrushes now I am a believer.
My baby brother, Jacob, has never had an issue getting his face painted. I'm so proud of my little penguin brother.
In a previous post, I mentioned I am taking gymnastics, but I didn't follow up with details.
So, here's the deal. It seems, I got to the point where I was literally, "bouncing off the walls". Daddy felt I needed an activity to get all the bouncing and jumping out of my system in a safe environment. So, that's how gymnastics became my new activity!
Can you tell I'm all set to go?!?!
Here I am in action! All by myself and then with a little help from my coaches. Gymnastics is really fun.
Ms. Teddy Bear is our classroom pet. Each week a student gets to take him home for one night. When it was my turn, Ms.Teddy Bear got a chance to go to gymnastics with me. Sooo fun!
